Learning from a young age that music can provide comfort, inspiration, and emotional clarity, Steven Muchnij sought to incite the same sense of expression and excitement for music in others. When Steven initially started 11H Entertainment, he aspired to be an outstanding entertainer that provided a keen sense of awareness and creativity to each event in which he participated. He has remained true to that commitment for more than two decades, and Steven’s team now boasts a range of talent. The sensational artists include Jason Henson, an experienced disc jockey; Power of 2, a dynamic DJ/emcee duo; and Infusion Xperience, a combination of a DJ and live musicians, all of whom aim to transform your event into a fun, unique, and memorable experience.

How long have you been in your current profession?
I’ve been doing this for over 20 incredible years.

What do you love most about what you do?
I love every aspect of what we do, from the initial call with the client to the first meeting when we get to discover their vision for their wedding, all the way through to the last song. My ultimate goal is to give the couple and their guests something they’ve never experienced before in entertainment. The truth is, the heartbeat of every party is the entertainment and there is no greater joy then having all the guests raving to the bride and groom after the party about how much fun they had.

What’s the most eccentric request you’ve received from a bride?
Susan and Ben knew they wanted a unique song for Susan to walk down the aisle to. She said she didn’t want the same old songs that have been used by most brides. We worked with Susan and Ben for 5 hours, going through every possible imaginable song. We could not find one song that worked for both of them because Ben and Susan came from two different music backgrounds. So we worked together to infuse two songs they each loved and created one custom song just for Susan and Ben. Then we added an element of surprise the day of the wedding by having our flutist layer live into her song. That is how we create unique memories that last a lifetime.

What is it about your business that makes it unique?
We are consistently committed to a very high level of service and attention to detail, in addition to providing a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience. We ensure that your event will definitely not be just another run-of-the-mill gig.

What is your favorite aspect of a wedding?
My favorite aspect of the wedding is two souls uniting as one and at the same time two sets of families and friends coming together to celebrate and unite as well. I feel blessed to have found the love of my life and have been married for over 18 years. I get to bring the essence of the love I have for my wife and the sacredness of two souls uniting to each and every wedding.

In what other industry would you be working if not this one?
I love what we do. I don’t even think about doing anything else.

Which famous wedding in history would you have most liked to work on?
Truthfully, I have found the brides and grooms I have worked with as nothing less than amazing, whether they are celebrities or not. The couple is definitely the star on the day of their wedding, and we know it and love it!
